Middle School Summer Prep
A developmental hockey program for 6th graders and 7th graders that are not yet eligible to participate in the 14u/up summer skates. Also includes occasional scrimmages against other middle school teams and weekly off-ice training alongside older athletes.
This program will be the starting point for players interested in our spring 2027 middle school league.
Ages
Incoming 6th and 7th (meant for those that are too young for the checking age summer skates) graders that are actively considering attending Lutheran South are eligible to participate.
If your 7th grader is a 2013 birth year, please look into our "Summer Skates" program.
When
Off ice sessions will be on Wednesdays 7-8pm at Fenton Park. Training will be led by Lutheran South coaches and includes our 8th-12th grade athletes as well.
Sessions dates are 6/17-8/19.
Tentative scrimmage dates (more may be added):
7/20 5pm at the Shark Tank
7/27 5:15pm at the Shark Tank
Costs
$125 for skaters, half price for goalies
Includes a t-shirt
