Class of 2026

David Lofton

David's achievements shine bright. Balancing rigorous coursework with the demands of high-level hockey, he has maintained outstanding academic performance, earning recognition as a model student-athlete who excels in both the classroom and the arena. The program proudly highlights his dual commitment, noting that he "brings excellence both on the ice and in the classroom." His dedication reflects the Christian-centric values instilled by Head Coach Tanner and Assistant Coach Brendon—integrity, humility, service, and glorifying God in all pursuits.

As a senior, David was honored during a special Senior Night at the Kennedy Recreation Complex Ice Rink, where the community gathered to celebrate his contributions and leadership. Looking ahead, he plans to continue his education and journey at Missouri, carrying forward the lessons of faith, discipline, and perseverance that defined his time as a Lancer.

David Lofton represents the best of Lutheran South hockey: a scholar-athlete who leads by example, supports his teammates like brothers in Christ, and proves that true success is measured not just in goals or wins, but in character forged through hard work and unwavering faith.

The future is bright for this program—and for David Lofton, whose legacy will inspire generations of Lancers to come.
